paint walls and wall cupboard to a small studio flat..main room only

Hi Ive just moved in to a studio flat and would like to repaint the walls..there is only one room involved, and a wall cupboard to paint. The paints are provided though I would like you to offer a suggestion on making the colour darker (I bought the darkest terracotta available but still not as dark as original paintwork..which I wish to emulate/copy)..could you provide and add a dark brown/black to premix the paint with?)
